This course is designed to meet the regulatory training requirements for RF Workers and is suitable for persons who in the course of and intrinsic to the nature of their work, are exposed under controlled conditions to Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Energy (RF EME). This course aims to ensure that persons who are potentially exposed to RF fields receive appropriate training and instruction in safe work practices and procedures and the controls in place to manage the potential RF hazard. This course is designed for people who are exposed in the course of their normal work and under controlled conditions to Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Energy (RF EME). The purpose of this course is to ensure you understand the safe working practices and procedures associated with working in an RF EME environment. This course is made up of seven sections and each section deals with a specific aspect of RF EME: Section 1 - Electromagnetic Fields Section 2 - Biological Effects Section 3 - Exposure Limits Section 4 - Antenna Types Section 5 - Personal Protective Equipment Section 6 - EME Protection and Safety Section 7 – EME Site Safety Guide (EMEG) Please download a copy of the course notes from your resources section.
